Distributor from Poland visited the Baltic Bearing Company

In June 2018 representatives of the company CHS Sp. z o.o. Sp. K. which is an authorized distributor of BBC-R bearings in Poland, visited the production site of Baltic Bearing Company in Riga, Latvia. This visit was held jointly with the management of the Polish division of our company.

Company CHS Sp. z o.o. Sp. k. is a quite new player on the market, but its dynamic development and interest in new quality bearings have become a key argument for the joint development of the BBC-R brand in Poland.

During the visit at the production site, the plant's director Sergey Shevelyov demonstrated to the guests the complete technological process of manufacturing BBC-R bearings, incoming billet inspection, heat treatment and grinding, superfinishing, washing, automatic assembly and preservation, marking and packing of finished bearings. Automatic and test manual control of the parameters on each production operation, as well as the final product in a modern laboratory, makes it possible to obtain a bearing of consistently high quality of the P6 precision class, comparable with the world manufacturers. The modern machine fleet of more than 200 units equipped with the Siemens control system is re-arranged for the production of different types of bearings in the shortest possible time, while the productivity remains at a very high level and the cost of finished products is minimal.
