Kärcher has provided a PPM-report based on the results of two-year cooperation with the Baltic Bearing Company.
The factor of defectiveness for bearings delivered to Kärcher is determined by DPPM („Defect Parts Per Million“).
DPPM describes the number of non-conforming units of each million parts.
It is determined according to the formula: DPPM = (quantity of defective samples / quantity of delivered samples) * 1 Mio.
According to the results of deliveries for 2017 and 2018 this factor for the Baltic Bearing Company is equal to 0. The results of the report show that there is no any claim regarding the quality of the "BBC-R" bearings from the supplier.
The management of the Baltic Bearing Company thanks Kärcher for such a high rating and expresses hope for further equally fruitfull cooperation.
As a supplier of Kärcher, Baltic Bearing Company upgraded the design of the delivered products according to the supplier's recommendations in order to improve their performance characteristics.
