Celebrating the 8th birthday of APP GRUPP

We are pleased to inform you that APP GRUPP, SIA celebrates its 8th birthday today!
Today, the BBC Group is celebrating the 8th anniversary of its production site APP GRUPP, SIA. Birthday is always an occasion to summarize, draw conclusions and make plans for the future. 8 years for a company is a short time, but we have something to be proud of!
During this period, we have become a strong united team, have built up a reputation as a reliable partner, both for customers and for our partners.
In 2018, APP GRUPP, SIA entered the TOP 500 largest enterprises in Latvia in terms of net turnover. In 2019, the company received the Bronze level under the State Revenue Service In-depth Cooperation Program. The turnover of APP GRUPP, SIA for 2019 was 11671839.16 EUR. The total volume of products – 13213140 bearings for 2019.
Today, BBC-R products are shipped to more than 20 countries.
All 8 years, we moved with the times, constantly growing and developing: increasing productivity, modernizing and automating production processes. Today we have 268 pieces of equipment.
An integrated management system has been created and successfully operates at the enterprise, which is confirmed by certificates of compliance with the requirements of ISO 9001-2015, ISO 14001-2015, ISO 50001-2012.
Currently, the company has developed a plan and is preparing the APP GRUPP, SIA quality management system for certification for compliance with IATF 16949-2016.
We have developed and are constantly improving a system of constant internal staff training and a knowledge assessment system, raising employee awareness of their role in ensuring product quality.
In October 2019, the management, heads of structural divisions and engineering and technical workers of the enterprise were trained in the requirements of the international automotive industry standard IATF 16949-2016.
Our Company continues its confident path, and our aspirations open new prospects for development and expansion of the assortment and nomenclature.
Over this period, projects of collaborative work have been developed with European manufacturers of products related to the production of bearings.
For 2020, an investment plan for the acquisition and development of a new production site has been developed and is being successfully implemented. The size of the investment will be more than 1 million euros. The COVID-19 pandemic made adjustments to the implementation of the investment plan, but nevertheless, it will be implemented before the pandemic ends, we will inform you about.
